Race Area
The races will be held approximately 1 miles outside from the yacht club of KJK. No sea currents.
Kalev Yacht Club in cooperation with the Finnish Melges 24 Fleet have been organizing high standard Melges 24 events from autumn 2006.
For season 2008 we are have planned two events and in 2009 the Nordic Championships will be held in Tallinn.
Marina
There are ca 370 berths (KJK and TOP harbor). There are showers, toilets and sauna for men and ladies, a launderette and car parking facilities. The organizing club will host approximately two races every year before the Worlds.
Boat cranes
There are two permanent cranes in the harbor areas suitable for keel boats. Also there are many slips for the Melges 24. Additional cranes will be organized for the Worlds.
Riggers
There are a number of riggers in the area and a full rigging service can be provided.
Sail lofts
One sail loft, WB Sails, is located in KJK . The second one is 10 km. from the yacht club.
Shops
Within walking distance there is a wide range of food stores and boat equipment shops.
