Helsingfors Segellsällskap (HSS) and Helsingfors Segelklubb (HSK) are pleased to invite all fellow Melges 24 sailors to the Finnish Open Championship 2008.
The regatta base harbour will be in HSK home harbour in Lauttasaari. The race organisation will be from HSS.
HSK has enjoyed a good relationship with the International Melges 24 Class Association hosting in 2003 the European Championship and the Finnish Melges Fleet hosting in 2002, 2003 and 2007 the Finnish Open Championship. HSS has organised many Finnish ranking events for the Melges 24 from 2001. Both organising clubs are well known Finnish yacht clubs and enjoy a reputation for hospitality, friendliness and above all a committed race organisation of providing hight class yacht races.
