The historical first ever Melges 24 fleet race is over here in Tallinn, Estonia and it what style! The gala dinner yesterday evening was fantastic at the best night club in the down town.
But to the race today, again temperatures over 20 degrees, wind blowing in from SW with a velocity of 5 -8 m/s.
The fleet sailed today three races on the same race area as yesterday which is only 2 nautical miles outside the base harbour (Pirita olympic harbour).
Tönu Töniste & co, EST 646 continued their superb condition making it clear who´s the best Melges 24 team in Northern Europe! Seven wins in seven race - tells everybody what happened on the course area. Land Rover helmed by Sami Ekblad sailed a consistent regatta taking four 2nd places out of seven. Today Land Rover had a couple of chances to challenge Lenny but somehow Tönu pulled out some extra speed going downwind.
