North Sails update

25.4.2007

Dear Melges 24 SailorNorth Sails have enjoyed a great start to the 2007 season winning most of the regattas so far: 1st Key West, 1st Primo Cup, 1st Volvo Cup One, 1st SNIM Easter Regatta, 1st Pacific Coast Champs.  Not a bad start at all for our sails! So early in 2007 we have out sold our predicted sales forecast and our delivery times are a little longer than we would like. If you are planning new sails for the coming regattas please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery to be safe.  If you can plan ahead you can be sure of having the sails delivered on time.  August and the Europeans might seem a long way away but it’s only 15 weeks away!
The Worlds in Santa Cruz are only just around the corner and I am looking forward to sailing on the west coats of the USA again.  The last Worlds in that part of the world were a very tough regatta and this one looks like a repeat showing.  A smaller field than we might be used to in Europe but all the same look at those names!  The Melges class continues to get tougher and the competition goes deeper down the field every year.  I guess that’s why we like it so much!

Good sailing for 2007 and do not hesitate to contact me if you have and questions or would like to place an order.

Kindest regards
