Estonian Champs day 1

The first ever Melges 24 event here Pärnu Estonia kicked off today at 11.00am in really light wind from east with a blue sky. Light and really shifty winds, varying from 10 to 40 degrees, were the name of the game. The bay of Riga outside Pärnu was a new place to everybody but EST 646 / Tönu Töniste & co were on top of everybody with a really steady performance. Behind the EST 646 the result list is interesting when 3 races are scheduled for tomorrow in hopefully a steady southerly wind.

At 8 pm the competitors will be having the gala dinner.
