The fourth Finnish ranking came to a conclusion here in Helsinki today after two days of racing. Race area exactly the same as during the 2003 Jacobs Creek European Championship. But the wind conditions totally different this time. Light winds on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday wind coming in from E-SE and on Sunday coming in from SE - SW. The wind speed between 2 - 6 m/s.
Four races during two days and 9 boats fighting for the win. This weekend a double win for the two Espoon Merenkävijät Yacht Club boats. Gold FIN662 helmed by Jaakko Perimaa (3 wins) and silver FIN262 helmed by Kari Hokka. Third FIN316 Team Uusikaupunki helmed by Henri Jefimoff.
Next race in August and then the fleet will fighting for the Class Championship title. Organising club then HSK in Helsinki.
