Tõnu Tõniste & co dominated the day here in Tallinn with two wins. The racing started after 3 hours of waiting on the shore. The two races were sailed in light E to NE winds varying 2 to 4 knots.
The first race was from the very first moments a total domination of Tõniste & co. Starting line was pin end favorable and Tõniste got a good start. Behind Tõniste the racing was tight. Second boat at the finishing line after a great race was FIN289 helmed by Henri Wiik. At third place was FIN529 helmed by Sami Ekblad. The race after the first beat was a boring "speed way race" with basically no chances of passing.
Second start was also very favorable to the pin end and especially for a port tack start. FIN 650 helmed Tomi Hakola took a one in a million start on port ahead of everyone with full speed. The others sgruggling behind. Tõniste came through the fleet a at the first top mark they already trailed Hakola. Downwind nothing happened but during the second beat the wind picked up and Hakola had some problems in the lift but with a couple of excellent tacks just before the top mark kept Tõniste behind. Starting downwind Tõniste gybed right after the spreader mark while Hakola continued. Töniste got the gybe in a right place getting the small gust and shift. After this move Tõniste lead, Hakola second and Jefimoff third. Nothing changed at the finishing line althought the racing was tight to the very end.
