Next Finnish ranking event will be held on Saturday and Sunday just outside Helsinki on Melkki race area. We are the biggest class competing - 17 boats on the starting line. Other classes competing on the same area will be f.ex. X-99, X-35, Albin Express, Beneteau25, Star, Dragon.
The weekend has some special arrangements due to the fact the organising club is on a island just outside Helsinki. So please read the following instructions: 1) The sailing instructions with all attachments have been sent today to all partisipating Melges24 helmsman >> PRINT OUT ALL 3 attachments for the race weekend. 2) The Finnish Melges24 Fleet has agreed with the organisers that the Melges24 can be in EMK, NJK or HSK harbors from Friday to Sunday (most of the boats will be at EMK). 3) The Finnish Melges24 Fleet chairman Tomi Hakola will be the ONLY person contacting the PRO / club on Saturday and Sunday morning regarding the notice board + official flags. The Finnish Melges24 Fleet will send each helmsman a SMS between 9 – 10.30 am giving the latest info from the the PRO + notice board + official flags.
4) If you and your crew are interested in the the Saturday evening buffet you´ll find the tickets for your boat on the HSS boat 5) Summarising all - the Melges24 class / sailors doesn´t need to go to HSS.
