The third Finnish Melges24 ranking had a excellent finish. With the wind coming in from east with appr 8 to 14 knots the day again gave thrills and spills. Coming to the final day after yesterdays long day the fleet was really tested out - only two races today and everything wide open for the podium places. Every team had prepared their boats for the last day.
The fifth race (first race today) was already at 10 am. FIN236 won the fourth race with a safe margin to the chasing pack. The sixth and final race was sailed in weakening wind. All top four boats sailed in tight pack. The leader changed several times and especially during the downwind legs. During the last beat FIN425 Team Makia Monster took command and held their lead to the finishing line.
FIN236 helmed by Jorma Kinnunen took their first ranking win with the tightest margin - one point seperationg them to over night leader FIN435 "Das Makia Monster".
